Our Notary Publics in Edinburgh provide document notarisation and certification services for clients and the local community. These services are often required for official documents at home and abroad, and while most firms charge a fee, we provide this service free of charge.
As part of our partnership with Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, Ralph Sayer Solicitors & Estate Agents is offering notary and document witnessing services free of charge. Instead of paying a fee, we invite clients who use this service to make a voluntary donation to Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home. 100% of all donations go directly to EDCH to support their vital work.
We call our notary and document certification service “Stamp of Approval, Paw of Support.” The idea is simple: every time we place our professional stamp on your documents, you have the chance to place a paw of support with a donation to our chosen charity, Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home (EDCH).

How Much Does It Cost?

Donations can be made in cash at our office or online via our dedicated EDCH donation link here. Every contribution helps EDCH care for animals in need and run their much-relied-on pet food bank, which supports both animals in their shelter and local pet owners.

If you are unsure whether your document requires notarisation, our team will be happy to advise.  Please note that we are not currently able to obtain an Apostille or Legalisation Stamp.  If that is required, we are unable to assist. 
All documents must be in English. We are unable to provide notary services for documents in other languages.
